FBI never held accountable before, no credibility now either

"Last week, the ACLU released FBI documentsshowing that the bureau is secretly and deliberately collecting information about innocent Americans through community outreach programs and retaining information about these Americans’ speech, beliefs, and other First Amendment-protected activities in violation of the Privacy Act.  TheWashington Post reported on Muslim community concerns over this practice."  -ACLU

The FBI has been guilty of crimes against the people since I was a kid...Starting wars on Indian lands to soften them up for Uranium and coal mining, and radioative dumping, and using COINTELPRO to destroy community organizations like the Black Panther Party For Self Defense, which was originally founded to feed schoolkids in the ghetto. (Directly responsible for the nation's school-lunch program) The FBI is almost never on the right side, and when by chance they happen to be, they fumble and blow it with legendary incompetence. I do like seeing people wake up to the reality. That the FBI has never been held accountable, and is NOT acting in the best interests of the people who actually live here. There cannot be any credibility without admission of wrongdoing, remorse, and yes...reparations. The original evil men might be gone from the bureau but the institutional memory serves to create conditions for further criminal activity from a government entity. This is unacceptable.

Ron Paul has been right all along but is un-electable

The whole point of Ron Paul is that he doesn't change his views or his positions according to any expectations or for political expedience. This is what we need, of course. But you can't ask the country to go back to the days of illegal abortions, or even unfunded family planning. This is not "A minor issue". Even I can see this and I can't get pregnant, being a man! This makes him un-electable in my opinion. He will have to experience an epiphany, and make an exception on this. This would be big news, the first Ron Paul 180 degree turnaround. Which would in itself be troubling. But his government MUST provide full funding for family planning, (streamline the adoption process by all means!) and get the government further away from women's wombs, not closer. And that WOULD seem to be more in line with his philosophy.
